The Galileo Observatory will be open to the public on Friday, May 21st. The night will include a 30minute presentation by the Star Troopers followed by observing of various celestial bodies including Mars, Saturn, Earth’s Moon, and Venus. This event is weather pending (must have clear skies to observe).   Time: 9:30pm-11pm   Please check http://miramichirural.nbed.nb.ca/other/galileo-observatory by 7pm Friday to see if event will take place.   cost: $2 per person / $5 per family All proceeds go toward toward enhancing the science program for students grades K-8 at Miramichi Rural.
