Hi everyone! Well, it's hard to believe, but the end of the school year is coming to an end. Friday is the last official day for this year! It certainly has been one to remember.
With that being said, arrangements to pick-up report cards will be made in a similar way to when student belongings were picked up. The date for report card pickup will be next Friday, June 19th. More information will be made available in the next few days.

After offering the on-line session “Staying Mentally Healthy During the COVID-19 Pandemic” to teachers and administrators, ASD-N’s John Fletcher will now be offering parents/guardians the opportunity to sign up. At ASD-N, we realize that the evolving situation with the COVID-19 Pandemic has been quite stressful for all of us: educators, parents and students alike. To help with these uncertain times, we are offering a parent/guardian mental health on-line session on Thursday, May 21st, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Dear Families, pick-up of your child's school belongings will take place on Monday, May 4th. This will be a contact less pick-up. We will ask that you drive around the bus circle and pull up to the area marked by cones. There will be staff out to help direct traffic. Once you pull up to the designated parking spot, we will ask that you open your trunk and a staff member will place belongings in your trunk. We will ask that you remain in your car.

Good afternoon families.  We wanted to inform you that EECD would like to collect information from our schools related to access to technology and internet connection.  We would really appreciate it if you would take a few minutes to respond to this survey.  The survey will come in the form of a voicemail from district and will only consist of 4 questions, so please, don't hang up.  Your responses will be used for future decision making.  We thank you for your help with this.

We are saddened to hear that schools in New Brunswick will remain closed for the remainder of this school year.  This is not an easy time for anyone and we want you to know we are always there for you.  As difficult as it is for all students and staff, we know how difficult this must be for our grade 8's as they look forward to their year end banquet and fieldtrip.  Please know that you will have many other opportunites to celebrate special milstones.  Don't look at this as the end, see it as just the beginning.  Take the time to focus on all the positive things that are happening around yo

Dear families, just because schools are closed does not mean learning stops. We all have a part to play in educating our students. We encourage all our students to read everyday for at least 20 minutes. There are also many other learning opportunities that can take place while at home. Help bake and practice fractions and measurement skills. Go outside and get at least 60 minutes of physical activity a day. Play board games, keep a daily journal of your activities, access the many free educational websites available online, such as splashmath (some students already have accounts).

This week is staff appreciation week!  Let our team know how much they mean to you!  Just a short note saying "thanks" makes our hearts glow and can make our day just that much brighter.  Teachers and staff do more then just teach; they foster friendships, coach, parent, advise, care, heal, nurse, love, and so much more.
