On Monday, December  13th, the Star Troopers will be hosting a very special event at the Sky-Tech Galileo Observatory. The Geminid Meteor Shower should treat us to some spectacular sites. From 7:30pm-8:00pm the Star Troopers will put on an information session about Jupiter, our Moon, and the constellation Gemini. From 8pm-9:30pm the observatory will be open and 10inch Dobsonian telescopes will be available to view our Moon and Jupiter. We will be observing the meteor shower with the naked-eye as it rises over the horizon to the east.

Calling all crafty people!!  We will be having a Christmas Activity Night for the children on Thursday, December 2nd.  We have a few volunteers already who will be doing activities such as cookie decorating, and popcorn stringing.  We are looking for some people who would bring their ideas for crafts or other Christmas activities and volunteer with us for this one evening.  Please contact the school or Lori Tinnion (778-9530) if you are able to help.    Thank you, The Home and School Association
