The Galileo Observatory will be open to the public on Friday, May 21st. The night will include a 30minute presentation by the Star Troopers followed by observing of various celestial bodies including Mars, Saturn, Earth’s Moon, and Venus. This event is weather pending (must have clear skies to observe).
Time: 9:30pm-11pm

cost: $2 per person / $5 per family
Students are currently preparing for a showcase of talent that ranges from comedy to music to art. In addition to a talent show, there will be student art on display and for sale. People who attend will be able to bid on some pieces of student art. At the end of the night, the name of the winning pledge for the art will be announced. The art showcase begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26th and the talent show will proceed at 7 p.m in the school gym. We look forward to seeing you there.

Miramichi Rural School is hosting a Career Fair this coming Friday, May 14 from 9-11 a.m. Students from both Miramichi Rural and Napan Elementary will have an opportunity to meet and talk with professionals in various careers. Participants are from a wide range of professions; tradespeople, musicians, entrepreneurs, medical professionals, city of miramichi engineering and fire department, emergency services, art, education, etc. It will be a wonderful experience for students to make contact with a variety of individuals who represent a variety of talents. We hope that your children wil
