K-2 Literacy Home Learning – Each day of the week will include one activity from each column labeled for our NB Curriculum of Speaking and Listening, Reading and Viewing, and Writing and Representing Activities. Thank you to all who helped to prepare these ideas, keeping our entire district on the same learning curve! Again, please feel free to contact me at any time, with questions or comments, families. Thank you to those already sending (emailing) me pictures of your children’s ‘work/fun’ or including them on the Miramichi Rural School’s Facebook page! I love how your families are spending such quality time together! Keep up the awesome job, families! You rock!

I am also including a K-2 Home Learning Suggestions for Numeracy link created by our Numeracy Lead.  There are wonderful suggestions here for High, Low or No Technology! Hope you able to make use of some of these ideas!

Good morning! I am not certain these Home Learning Calendars for Reading, Math and Exploration were uploaded last week, or not…so I will resend them! Hope all is well!!?!

Hi families! How are you doing? I wanted to let you know that this Web Link is an awesome way to connect your child to a free (Until June, 2020) book selection! There are Fiction and Non Fiction Books available! If you leave it on Read Along, the words read will light up in blue. Then there are also tabs to click on to have your child answer comprehension questions with immediate feedback, sequencing questions, more books to read about this topic for further information, pages to print out all about this topic, etc! I hope it is of benefit to you and your children! (There are K-3 book selections and up to Grade 12 choices, also)! Have fun and stay safe!
