School Closures due to Covid-19 March 16-27

Posted: March 15, 2020

Dear families, just because schools are closed does not mean learning stops. We all have a part to play in educating our students. We encourage all our students to read everyday for at least 20 minutes. There are also many other learning opportunities that can take place while at home. Help bake and practice fractions and measurement skills. Go outside and get at least 60 minutes of physical activity a day. Play board games, keep a daily journal of your activities, access the many free educational websites available online, such as splashmath (some students already have accounts). Post your pictures to our Facebook page showing your ongoing learning or log your entries. All students who can demonstrate their continued learning while home will have their name entered for a draw to win some prizes. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
