Dear Families, we are trying our best to prepare for next year, and at this point their are still many questions left unanswered.  But what we do know is that students will still require school supplies!  As in the past, for our K-3 students, families where asked to pay a fee and the teachers purchased the necessary materials that they preferred for their students based on years of experience that they felt has the largest benefit for students (colour coded duotangs, specific brands of material that are of better quality, etc.).  Last year, this offer was also extended to the remainder of our grades.  We felt this was successful, and for some families, a relief.  This may be even truer, as many of us try to avoid crowded shopping areas, as we all strive to maintain social distancing rules.

So once again we would like to continue with our School Tools program through Staples.  The fee this year will be $60 for all students in grades K-8.  With the School Tools Program, any materials that become damaged, ripped or defective are replaced free of charge.  This would include items like binders, duotangs, scissiors, etc.  It does not include consumable materials like pencils, crayons, glue.  All the supplies will be packaged for each individual student and be given out on the first day of school.  Personal items such as bookbags, lunch bags, indoor shoes, etc. is still the responsibility of families to purchase.

We are asking that the fee for school supplies be paid on June 19th when you come to pick up your child's report card anytime between 1pm and 3pm. We will once again ask that you drive around the bus circle, park and wait for a staff member to come out and serve you. We recommend you place the school supply fee in an envelop labelled with your child's name and grade.  If this day and time is not possible, the office will still be open June 22 and 23.  If the fee is not paid during this time, supplies will not be purchased for your child.  A school supply list with SPECIFIC supplies will be sent home.  We encourage everyone to take advantage of this offer!
