- Read and Log     Students in grades 6 and 8 wrote their first math test of the year. I am excited to see the results as I have been very pleased with the students' work to this point in the year. In social studies classes all students in 6-8 began working on a research presentation on "Champions of Human Rights" such as Stephen Lewis, Romeo Dallaire, Matthew Coon Come, etc. We have been doing a lot of work on the Declaration of Human Rights so I am sure if you asked your child about this document and the responsibilities that go with these rights you will be more than impressed with their level of knowledge.
