ASD-N Healthy Learners Team are promoting healthy eating during Nutrition
Month.

Rushed mornings can leave little time for breakfast.
If you skip the morning meal, your body and brain will lack fuel.
That means you might be less alert and unable to
ASD-N Students! Does your teacher have a classroom or subject web
page that supports your classroom experience? Are you and your fellow students
so proud of your school that you are busting to let others know about it? Have
you used technology in your classroom to help you learn? If so then the 2015 ASD-N CUTE Awards
are for you.

The staff of Miramichi Rural would like to extend a huge "THANK YOU" to our Home & School for the delicious treats and goodies received last week in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week. We certainly appreciate this! You rock!
The New Brunswick Anglophone school system has three education program options to support students learning the French language. Information sessions will provide an overview of these programs to help parents make a choice with their child entering Grade 3 or Grade 6. A parent information session will be held: Wednesday, Februray 25th at 6:30pm at Dr.
There will be a Valentine's Day dance for all students Gr. 5-8 on Thursday, February 12th, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at a cost of $3.00. The canteen will be opened. All items are $1.00.
Student Council has decided to host numerous fundraisers throughout the school year to raise funds for families that may be in need. Therefore, our second fundraiser will be on Friday, December 19th, 2014. If you wear your PJ's on this day, we ask that you donate a $1.00 to this campaign. We thank you for your continued support!
Unfortunately, due to cloudy skies and recent snow storms, we will have to cancel the moon gazing scheduled for tonight. We hope this will happen sometime in the near future. Stay tuned!
ObservatoryThe Galileo Observatory will be open from 6-7 pm Monday, December 15th, 2014 for all who wish to explore the moon. Hot chocolate will be served.
Home and School will be hosting a community breakfast and craft sale in the gym on Sunday, December 7th, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. A special appearance will be made by Santa. All are welcome to attend!
