We will no longer be able to have microwaves available for student use due to a notice received from the Fire Marshall. This regulation states that, "Household applicances are clearly marked for 'Household Residential Use Only' and includes kettles, toasters, coffee makers, etc. Such appliances are not permitted to be used in other type of occupancies including hospitals, nursing homes, special care homes, and schools."
Just a note that the school supply lists for grades 4/5 and grades 6/7/8 have been added under the document tab. We apologize for not having this uploaded sooner! These lists are also available at Staples.

Miramichi rural students Alex Dowling and Nicholas Cabana-Whitely competed over the weekend in the North Anglophone School District which was held in Rexton. They both played very tough matches with students from across the district. Alex won a match in his grade level, which was one of the largest groups in the tournament! Great job Alex! Also, Nicholas Cabana Whitely placed 2nd in his grade level and qualified for the Provincial Chess Tournament which will be held on April 22nd! Congratulations Nicholas! Pictures of the chess tournament are posted on the school website image gallery!
In order to continue to promote a positive learning environment, we are increasing the number of ways we recognize students on a monthy basis. For the last couple of years, we have focused on teaching students in K-5 to be "Bucketfillers". Throughout the year, all the students recognized as a Bucketfiller will have their name entered for a draw at the end of the year to win a new bicycle.
Congratulations to Kayleigh and Juliane for receiving the Athlete of the Month award for the month of January! Kayleigh and Juliane each received a Pita Pit coupon for a free pita! Click here to view the athlete's photos!
