Wow! What a fun filled week. We had so many things on the go.

The Grade 6/7s were hard at work in both literacy and Social Studies. They were practicing how to take notes, learning what makes a good paragrapgh and how to set up their pages! They took notes on Economic Empowerment and learned all about how Canada started their economy. They had some great ideas and discussion topics on the matter! They were also working hard on creating something wonderful for the Remembrance Day Ceremony nxt week!

The Grade 8s were working hard on completing their Halloween stories. They had a chance to create some funny displays of writing that were Halloween based. They were also introduced to Narrative essays and had a chance to work on their Interest Projects, which are coming along great!

The grade 1s were so happy to learn about numbers--identifying them, reading the numbers and trying out 1 more and 1 less.Osmo came to visit and help them with their numbers. What a treat at the end of the week with Sphero to help us reinforce our patterns!!
