The grade 4-5 class will enjoy a co-curricular trip to Caraquet to visit the Acadian Village on Tuesday, June 14th where they will experience the Acadian life between 1770 and 1939.  Students will be leaving the school between 8:30 - 8:45 a.m. and returning between 7:00 p.m and 7:30 p.m. that evening.  There will be a lot of walking therefore, students should remember to wear comfortable sneakers (no sandals or flip flops please), pack a bag lunch, bring a bottle of water, hat, raincoat and sunscreen.  Students will be stopping in Tracadie to eat supper at MacDonald's.  They will pre-order and pre-pay before their departure.  A consent form and menu of items to order from MacDonald's will go home at a later date as well as all other pertinent information.  Students may bring a book to read or other technology such as an MP3 player.  However, it is the student's responsibility for said item should the item become lost or stolen.
