I hope the first week of at home learning went well.
As I'm sure you know, unfortunately, the province is locked down until the 30th - which means an extra week of at home learning.
It was definitely not the news that we were looking to hear - I miss all the kiddos - but they're a resilient group and it will make seeing them in person that much more exciting!
With that being said - I will be putting together another choice board for these upcoming 2 weeks.
As you probably have noticed - my choice boards have included more activities than needed for a week's worth of at home learning activities.
You can continue to pull unfinished activities from this week's choice board in addition to the new choice board to carry you through the next 2 weeks.
I will be printing off a copy of this choice board and any extra sheets needed today and will put it outside in the blue bin to be picked up at any time between after school today and Monday.
I will additionally be posting the choice boards/materials needed on my Teacher Page.
If you can print things at home/or feel that a digital copy is sufficient - there is no need to pick up a packet.
If this is the route you are taking - let me know - that way I know that your child is continuing to do their work without having picked up the packet.
Everyone already has their textbooks, Triple Scoop words, sentence starters, math scribblers, journals, etc. - so, you shouldn't need anymore materials.
I will continue to host our morning meetings at 8:30 each morning, the Grade 3 meeting at 10:30 and the Grade 4 meeting at 11:00.
If you have any questions - please let me know.
I'm pretty quick to answer my email - but can also answer questions through Zoom at the Grade 3 and Grade 4 meetings.
