*Practice Spelling Words - Test on Friday, September 23rd, 2022
*Finish identifying 5 things (for each feeling) that make you feel happy, sad, fearful, angry and disgusted - Inside Out character packet
*Finish Planner for 'My Favorite Person' descriptive writing... Remember add details!
- Opening: Hook - Hook your reader and introduce your topic (i.e. It's hard to believe that I only met my favourite person four short years ago.)
- Personal: Sentence starter + 3 facts about your favorite person (i.e. full name, date of birth, age...)
- Looks: Sentence starter + 3 physical traits (i.e. hair, eyes, smile...)
- Likes: Sentence starter + 3 things your favorite person likes (i.e. sports, activities, games...)
- Closing: Wrap up your writing - Relates directly back to your opening sentence, simply rewording it in one way or another (i.e. I can't wait to spend many more years with my favorite person!)

When your child returns to school, I am asking that all work completed by your child while at home is turned in.
This includes any math questions, writing assignments, etc.
I'm able to log-in to Dreambox, DreamScape, SquigglePark as well as Literacy Footprints (for some students only) to see when and for how long your child was logged in.
Being able to see what your child has completed and to what degree of their ability will better shape our direction for instruction in the coming weeks.
Additionally, could you please send back all learning materials that were sent home - like their math scribbler, math textbook, journal, any reading books, etc.

I had a change in my schedule for today at school - so I will be unable to host our morning meeting as planned.
