On Friday, April 23rd, Miramichi Rural School will be hosting the grand opening of its observatory! The night will include research displays from students, robot simulators of the mars rovers, ribbon cutting ceremony, and prizes for winners of the “Name the Observatory Contest” and “Logo Design Contest”. There will also be plenty of posters, stickers, and tattoos to give away.

Congratulations to Marley Kingston and Libby Kingston for placing first overall at the School District 16 Science Fair. These two ladies along with Cole Duffy and Maxime Manuel have been selected by the district judges to attend the Provincial Science Fair in Fredericton, NB on April 16th.
