Students were asked to ride a scooter over a variety of surfaces and measure the distance traveled. They soon figured out many different factors that played a part in the distance they were able to travel.

The gr.5 class took a unique approach in learning about wheels, axles and bearings. They designed their own race cars using fruits and vegetables. Before racing their cars, predictions were made and then each design was tested. Take a look at their creative designs!
