- read and log - speech due tomorrow -study mental math -grade six study for math test tomorrow   Today in math the grade 7's learned how to make circle graphs. The grade 6's continued their review for the test tomorrow. Students should focus on coverting measurements and finding surface in their studies tonight. In science we explored subduction zones, fault lines, and how mountains are formed using crackers and corn syrup. In photography class students learned some tips for taking landscape photos.

-read and log -smoothies for sale tomorrow for a dollar -math grade 6 questions 4-12  page 218-219 (due Thursday) -study for mental math (Thursday)   Today in Math the grade 7's learned how to find the area of a circle....Remember, pies are square! The grade 6's began working on their unit review which means we will be having a test on Friday! In science class today we began exploring the theory of continental drift and how this effects volcanoes and earthquakes. In photography we looked at some tips for taking pictures of people and will be in the field tomorrow putting our learning to the test!

- read and log -grade six finish 216-217 -do your third body parigraph and start conclusion -extra L.A help tomorrow -star trooper meeting tomorrow -grade 7 math page 146-147 1-11 - mental math test tomorrow   Today in math the grade 6 and 7's reviewed how to convert centimeters to meters etc. The mnemonic to help with this is "King Henry Died Mixing Dark Chocolate Milk". In Science we continued our mapping of volcanoes and earthquakes around the world. In photography class we looked at some tips for taking pictures of friends and family and will put these tips into practice on Wednesday during tech. class.

- Read and Log - Sign Science Test - Good copy of speech intro. - Extra L.A, Help on Thursday after school - Extra Math help / after school club tomorrow until 4pm   Today in Math students in grade 7 finished the mid-unit review and began working on finding the area of parallelograms. That grade 6's checked their homework and will be started exploring the differene between measuring in meters cubed and liters squared. In science we explored the relationship between volcanoes and earthquakes and on Thursday we will begin mapping the earthquakes and volcanic activity in the 20th century.

- Read and Log - Sign science test - work on introduction to speech - French recycling project due April 30th - Book orders due Friday, April 23rd - Opening Ceremonies of observatory Friday, April 23rd   Today in math class the grade 7's continued work on the mid-unit review which will test their recall and comprehension of finding radius, diameter, and circumference of circles. The grade 6's continued their study of finding volume. In science we moved on to our new unit studying the earth's crust. In Photography class we began to learn about the different functions and modes available on the cameras.
