- Sign midterm report (for those who did not) - read and log -grade six finish math pages that were handed out today - Grade 7's finish pgs. 1-5 pg. 314 - after school club tomorrow (math help, extra projects, etc.)   In math today the grade 7's finished the mid-unit review while the grade 6's did some review on the chapter on geometry. In Social Studies we began comparing the representative colonial government with responsible colonial government.

-read and log -study mental math -grade 6 page 100 1 -9 finish -sign Mid-term review   Today in Math the grade 6's were working on the unit review. They will be tested on the learning goals on "Geometry" by the end of the week. Grade 7's began the mid-unit review on geometry and our goals is to be finished this unit by the end of the week as well. In Social Studies students presented their "Most Wanted" posters and worked on their final presentations (essays or oral) for their social action projects.

- Read and log - News paper artical - mental math Today in math the grade 6's finished their work on orthographic views. Everyones seems to have grasped this concept nicely. Tomorrow we will move on to lines of symmetry. The grade 7's have concluded their study on bisecting angles today and will begin coordinate graphs tomorrow.

Homework - Jan. 21/10

- read and log - grade 6 math question 1-5 and number 7 - news paper article due monday   today in math the grade 6's continued the lesson on sorting quadrilaterals. The grade 7's finished their lesson on perpendicular bisectors and tomorrow will begin bisecting angles. In Social Studies students have been learning about the government structure on British North America.
