Public Health has confirmed a potential COVID-19 exposure at Miramichi Rural School.  Students should rapid test daily until at least December 30^th.  This is a reminder that Public Health measures have changed, and all K-8 students (vaccinated and unvaccinated) must rapid test each day.

Test kits were sent home with students yesterday, and these can be used to start daily testing immediately.

Please note that, although Grade K-6 students have now started their holiday break, K-6 families will be able to pick up additional kits at the main entrance of the school on Monday, December 20^th from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. in order to cover the remainder of the Holiday Testing Program period.

Monday, December 20^th will be a regular school day for Grades 7 and 8.  Students in Grades 7 and 8 will need to have two consecutive negative test results (on Sunday and again on Monday morning) in order to return to school on Monday.  Additional test kits will be provided to Grade 7 and 8 students at school on Monday.
