Welcome Back to all our families! We are excited to begin a new school year and look forward to making memories with your child. As you are probably already aware, a number of forms and notices have gone home with your child. Please complete the forms and send them back as soon as possible. Student fee's will be accepted any time and are due no later than October 19th.
White milk will be available in the canteen beginning tomorrow for .50 cents. We will also be sending home forms for the milk cards for those who wish to pre-pay.
Please note, due to the inclement weather forecasted for tomorrow, it has been decided to change our field trip to Bouctouche to Monday, June 18th, 2018. Students will have a much better experience when the weather cooperates! Sorry for the last minute notice!

Just a reminder to families about our upcoming BBQ Fundraiser being held this Saturday, June 2nd at Kent's Building Supplies from 11:00am - 2:00pm. All funds raised go back to the school to help fund initiatives. Please send back the form letting us know whether we can count on you to help out. Remember, many hands make for light work!
Due to poor ticket sales, it has been decided to postpone the East Coast Art party until April 13th, 2018. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope that by moving the date we are able to make this a successful fundraiser. Miramichi Rural school would like to invite you for an evening of painting and socializing at the Black River Hall on April 13th, 2018 from 6:30-9:30. We are hosting an East Coast Art Party in hopes of raising funds for year end school events. This event is for adults 19+ and over. Please share the news of this event with all your family and friends
Just a couple of reminders prior to the March Break which begins next week on March 5th. Firstly, tomorrow (Feb.28th) is Pink Shirt Day. We encourage all staff and students to wear pink and stand tall against bullying. Also, tomorrow is a half day of school. Students will be dismissed at 11:30am.
Due to the March Break approaching, we have cut back on our milk order. As a result, we have run out of mild in the canteen so please be aware that there is no milk available for the remainder of this week.
Staff Appreciation Week was celebrated last week. The staff wants to sincerely thank the Home & School and all the volunteers that made our staff feel appreciated! We were treated to many "goodies" from coffee and muffins, to delious homemade desserts, to an awesome potluck! Again, thank you for acknowledging the hard work teachers and support staff put forth on a daily basis to enrich the lives of the youth in our community!
