Attention families of Miramichi Rural School: Due to the continued power outages in our community, there will be no school tomorrow Monday, January 30th. The situation will continue to be monitored and we will provide updates as soon as they become available.
As this is our last week before the Christmas break, please be aware that we will not be ordering milk to be delivered this week. We would advise that you send a drink in your child's lunch or send money to purchase water or juice from the canteen, especially those parents who have purchased milk cards. Report cards went home with your child/ren today. Please take a moment to review the report card and make comments on the section provided. We also encourage you to discuss the reports with your child and have them complete the student reflection and return it tomorrow.
The Middle School Soccer Sharks will be travelling on Monday to face Millerton at 4pm. Last game on Thursday ended in a 1-1 match. The Sharks hope to muscle their way to their first win of the season! Parents should pick their players up from school if possible to make their way to Millerton for 4pm.
