Miramichi Rural Student Council would like to thank all parents and students who attended the Haunted House on Friday, Oct. 25th, 2013. Your support and positive feed back was truly appreciated!
On Friday, October 25th, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. , M.R.S. Student Council members will have a Haunted House open to all students K-8. Students K-3 must be accompanied by a parent. The cost is 50 cents per visit. Afterwards, there will be a Halloween Dance for Gr. 5-8 students from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The cost is $3.00 with a costume and $4.00 without a costume. Prizes will be awarded for most original costume, best costume, funniest costume, best guest costume and scariest costume. Canteen will be open. All items are $1.00 each. Hope to see you there!
Miramichi Rural School will be having a Bottle Drive on Saturday, October 19th, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. All parents and students K-8 are welcome to help out with collecting and sorting of Bottles. Bottles may also be dropped off any time after school on Friday, October 18th up until Saturday, October 19th at 12:00 p.m. All funds raised will go towards year end field trips and co-curricular activities for all students K-8.
Please note, picture retakes will take place on Wednesday, October 16th, 2013 should you wish your child to have their picture redone. Also, students who are on any sports team or Student Council will also have their picture taken on this day. Please bring your jersey to school on Wednesday, October 16th, 2013.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Elementary Cross Country Meet that is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9th, 2013 in Blackville has been cancelled.
There will be no school on the following dates: Thursday, October 10th, 2013 (Professional Learning Day), Friday, October 11th, 2013 (Professional Learning Day) and Monday, October 14th, 2014 (Thanksgiving).
Please note, that all Harvest Basket tickets and money are due back on Monday, October 7th, 2013. The draw for the basket will take place on Wednesday, October 9th, 2013.
All parents/guardians, are invited to attend our annual Meet and Greet the Staff night in the gym on Thursday, September 19th, 2013 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Please note, we will also be having a BBQ. Come join us for a bite to eat while getting to know your child's/ren's teacher! We look forward to seeing you there!
